Who's at the end of this one?

And did they find any gold? Snapped with my mobile while sitting in the car, looking at the view like an old man with a flask of tea . . .

more wet leaves

As a single image looks rather lonely on the page, here's another wetleafscape.
For those who like to know such things, both photos were taken with a Ricoh GX100. As work requires me to carry a shoulder drooping bag of Nikon kit (a lovely D3 mind you), when I'm not working I like using small compact cameras...such freedom!
Ok, so I've now joined the world of bloggers, lets see where this goes . . .
Hope you enjoy, who ever 'my' readers may be.

It starts here . . .

By way of introduction, I'm a photographer working for a local daily paper in North Yorkshire, England (which right now is an occupation as precarious as working for a bank or poor old Woolies).
My work stuff is mostly as standard as standard gets, real local paper stuff.  I try to get the best out of most jobs, only to find the 'most faces' group shot gets used . . . I just sigh, and move on.
So this blog will be an outlet for the unused work pics, and my own random snaps taken between work jobs or on days off, with maybe a few words about the photo...well thats what blogs are meant to be about I suppose.
So this is my first blog post picture, taken on a wet day in Wiltshire while visiting Westonbirt National Arboretum, with a friend. I like leaves in the rain.
